HOLLYWOOD ACTRESS KATE WINSLET 
Kate Winslet, was born on 5 October 1975. She is most popular Hollywood actress. She is an English actress and irregular singer. She has received many award and nominations. She was the youngest person to accumulate six Academy Award nominations, and won the Academy award for best actress for the reader(2008). She has been highly praised for both dramatic and comedic work in projects ranging from epoch to modern films and from chief Hollywood production to less publicized indie films. She has won awards from the screen actress guild, British academy of film nominated twice for an Emmy award for TV acting. Raised in Berkshire, she studied drama from childhood and began her career in British TV in 1991. She made her film first appearance in Heavenly Creatures(1994), for which she received her first notable critical praise. She achieved credit for her following work in a behind role in sense and deep feeling (1995) and for her most important role in Titanic (1997), the maximum grossing film at that time. Since 2000, she has been chosen for various awards for her work in such films as ''Quills''(2004), Irish(2006), Eternal sunshine of the spotless Mind(2004), Finding neverland(2004), Little Children(2006), The reader(2008) and Revolutionary Road (2008). The romantic comedy ''The hollyday,, and the animated movie Flushed Away (2006) was among the major profitable successes of her career.
